to embody this love and commitment to each other and beyond into the world.

January Drive-Thru Food Collection
When: Saturday, January 10th, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Where: Cranford United Methodist Church’s Parking Lot (next to the Cranford Library)
The holidays may be over, but many local families still need nutritious food. If you can, consider adding a bag of groceries to your shopping list. Your generosity will make a big difference for families facing tough times!
What to Bring:
All donations will go to St. Joseph’s Social Services Center in Elizabeth.
Suggested items:
-
Fresh produce: apples, pears, potatoes, sweet potatoes, onions, garlic, and carrots.
-
Pantry staples: applesauce, broth, peanut butter, salt, pepper, oil, spices, salad dressing, pasta, pasta sauce, rice, cookies, and pudding.
-
Canned goods: vegetables, beans, peanut butter, tuna, and chicken.
How It Works:
-
Load your grocery bags into your trunk.
-
Drive into the church parking lot.
-
Pop your trunk, and our volunteers will handle the rest!
Please ensure all items are not expired.
Can’t make it on January 10th?
No problem! You can drop off donations anytime in the bins near the Little Free Pantry in the church parking lot. They’re available 24/7 for your convenience.
Want to Get Involved?
We’d love to have you join us! Our food drives happen on the second Saturday of every month, so mark your calendar and bring the whole family—kids are welcome too!
Visit https://www.cranfordumc.com/events for more details or call us at 908-276-0936 if you have any questions.
Thank you for your kindness and for helping our neighbors in need!
Hey, neighbors. Did you know that there is a Little Free Pantry in the parking lot of the church? It was built by Eagle Scout Josh Schwartz. In this time when so many families are being cut off from food assistance, the pantry is in great need of food. If you can help out, please drop off your food donations anytime, 24/7. If the pantry is full, please use the overflow bin located below the pantry.
